Yinka Opaneye, Lead People Consultant

Yinka Opaneye was the former Group HR Director with GameAnalytics overseeing employee operations across a range of subsidiary businesses based in Asia, Europe and Middle-East and Northern America. He is currently consulting for a number of SMEs and technology-based startups.

Yinka Opaneye is the former Group HR Director with GameAnalytics overseeing employee operations across a range of subsidiary businesses based in Asia, Europe and Middle-East and Northern America. He is currently consulting for a number of SMEs and technology-based startups.

He is CIPD qualified HR professional with over 15 years’ progressive experience within the field working with well-known businesses, growing SMEs and several charities. Though a generalist he is a specialist in talent acquisition and employee relations. Most recently, Yinka has focused on the technology sector with a keen interest in FinTech/ DeFi – supporting the growing FinTech firms in the EU region, and developing his interest and passion for Web3, blockchain and its intersection with Financial services.

His practical experience is balanced out by an MA Human Resources Management and an employment law certificate. Most notably, he authored the book ‘FinTech In Africa’ (2015) which explores how FinTech has impacted the continent. His current focus remains in how small-medium enterprises can best utilise their people function.
