• Storytelling doesn’t always help
• Funding: risk, cap table, location, the role of the Board

Charlie Curtis – Co-founder/Chair @ ORIGEN | DRYGRO

Charlie is an Associate Fellow and Entrepreneurship Expert at Saïd Business School where he specialised in impact-led innovation, corporate innovation culture, and corporate-led systems change.

He is also working with the Bridge Institute on systemic solutions to carbon dioxide removal.

As an entrepreneur, Charlie is co-founder of Origen (in Direct Air Capture) and DryGro (Alt Protein).

Susan Hooper

Susan is Chair of Tangle Teezer and Chair Designate of Inter.Earth, and sits on the Boards of Moonpig plc and Uber UK.

She is a Founding Director of Chapter Zero, and is involved in several start-ups in carbon capture and sustainability.

Susan is also an Ambassador for the World Travel & Tourism Council.

Susan chairs the annual Innovation Partnership advisory board.
